  • Big Narstie

Whilst representing Grime recording artist Big Narstie, Jonathan negotiated a co-production deal with Channel 4 for his own show. This was the first time a Grime artist has owned and produced a TV programme for a mainstream television channel. He had editorial control, rights ownership, and production revenue share rather than just a talent fee. Jonathan advised on all aspects of the strategy and execution including the incorporation of his production company Dice Productions Entertainment. The show has subsequently won a BAFTA along with two Royal Television Society awards and the Edinburgh TV awards.

  • Big Zuu

When acting for Big Zuu, Jonathan negotiated a co-production with UKTV for his production company, Big Productions. This was a ground-breaking deal where the Talents production company obtained a meaningful involvement in a production based heavily around the Talent and his Intellectual Property. Jonathan advised on the production elements and negotiating strategy. He closed a deal which will go on to have an enormous impact on the industry creating a precedent and opportunity for others to follow.
