Boxing

  • Chris Eubank Jr

Whilst acting for Chris Eubank and Eubank Jr, Jonathan advised on the incorporation of their own production company. He negotiated co-promotional deals for the fighter from 2014 after only 11 contests. This trailblazing approach enabled Jr to benefit from the promotional fees, rights fees, broadcast fees and sponsorship fees from his own contests rather than just the fighter purse. He kept Jr as a free agent enabling him to work with different co-promoters and broadcasters this notably enabled him to challenge and win the WBA interim title in his 20th fight on Box Nation, fight on Sky Sports and then challenge Nick Blackwell for the British title on Channel 5. These cutting edge deals enabled Jr to win the IBO world title on ITV Box Office in his 26th contest. Jonathan also negotiated the deal for Jr's participation on the first eight man knock out boxing competition the World Boxing Super Series.

  • Anthony Yarde

Whilst acting for Anthony Yarde, Jonathan advised on sponsorship deals with Foot Asylum, Addidas and others. He also negotiated promotional agreements with Frank Warren and Queensberry promotions, rights to footage and IP, arrangements surrounding co-promotion, broadcast agreements and more

  • Media Relations

As a boxing advisor Jonathan is directly involved with negotiating broadcast arrangements for his clients which cover PPV splits and upside/backend along with general revenue distribution. Jonathan has negotiated increased fighter PPV revenue shares. The formula negotiated by Jonathan is still used to this day when implementing PPV models for fighters.
